As always Karel's joyous love of life and beauty is reflected in her art.  Familiar themes, beloved by the artist, of Pacifica and the Mediterranean combine with still life compositions.  Works are often enriched by Karel's trademark touches of gold and silver, tapa designs, symbols and icons.
