Goldie lent nine of his European works to the fine art collection at the Industrial and Mining Exhibition, Auckland major entertainment over the summer of 1898-99. These included the impressive Burgomaster copied in the Royal Gallery at Antwerp in 1895, and two other copies after Rembrandt. Reference: p 12 Goldie by Roger Blackley
