Nelson artist Janice Gill was born in Winton, Southland, in 1947. Her drawings and paintings have appeared in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Her works feature on the covers of books by Brian Easton, Minnie Deans and Lynley Hood. Works by Janice Gill are held in numerous public collections.
