One of New Zealand's First abstract expressionist painters, Kase Jackson participated as an invited artist in the Auckland City Art Gallery Festival Exhibition Unit Two and Object & Image, the 1964 group show alongside works by artist friends Colin McCahon, Louise Henderson and Milan Mrkusich. When Jackson showed his works in the United States of America in the mid to late 1960s a work was acquired for the permanent collection of the Windsor Portrait Gallery. He also has works in the Auckland Art Gallery permanent collection as well as the collection of the Bishop of Aotearoa.
