How inspiring - Christchurch and Italian Art! A wonderful opportunity to view and purchase works from a collection of over 100 outstanding paintings by six Italian based artists.
The contemporary frescoes of Franco Anselmi (Veneto) contrast with traditional Venetian oil paintings by Eros Rumour. Figurative works, large and small by Paolo Canetti (Milano) capture in cubist form the flowersellers, fishermen and winegrowers of the South and Tuscany. Raimondo Roberti (Naples) takes us on a visual journey of joy to the Amalfi Coast. Step into a flower filled courtyard of sundappled terracotta, courtesy of Sicilian born Maria Serafina, or contemplate an elegant still life, with touches of the modern by Venetian born Claudio Missagia.
