Banky's Keep it Real sold for $1,747,745 at our 30 March IMPORTANT & RARE ART auction, making it the most expensive artwork ever sold at auction in New Zealand - and our second work to sell over $1 million, the first being in April 2016 when a C F Goldie painting made $1.37 million.

International Art Centre is the only auction house to have achieved two $1million plus sales by auction.

New record prices were achieved by Anne Shelton ($13,810), Paratene Matchitt ($36,020), Stanley Palmer ($45,670), Robyn Kahukiwa ($64,860), Nigel Brown ($32,433) Robin White ($216,000) and 20th Century artist E G Edwards ($32,200)
