With over thirty six resident artists currently completing a multitude of exciting new works, the annual Summer Exhibition promises to be one of the best ever.

New to the gallery this year, and featured in the Summer Exhibition, are the unique neo-classical portraits of Omaru based artist Donna Demente. Whilst for the first time in New Zealand clients are able to view and purchase the 'edgy' animal portraits of Melbourne artist Tracy Ellerton.

On a more traditional level, Patricia Payne commemorates the festive season with a specially commissioned Nativity Scene accompanied by a new series of small scale paintings, perfect for a very special Christmas gift. This year the ever popular landscapes of leading New Zealand artist Simon Williams are complimented by his dramatic new series of Auckland Nightscapes.

Long awaited works by Eugenea and Colette Cheyne contribute much to the quality of this exhibition. Whilst those of our youngest artist James Watkins bring an atmospheric dynamic all of their own.
