This work is one of Killeen's hard edged geometric abstractions made up of repeating forms. This pattern making quality of the work takes precedence over the use of imagery or the necessity for a composition. The whole of the surface becomes an object in itself, there being no necessity for a hierarchy of objects within the aluminium frame.
