A. Lois White painted Song School, Edinburgh in 1962. The actual location is St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh, a school for boys and girls aged between nine and nineteen. The school, which is non-denominational, provides education for children with a special talent in music, and is Scotland's only full-time independent specialist music school.
