An exhibition of outstanding quality featuring over twenty five original works by one of New Zealand's most popular landscape artists Simon Williams. Islands & Oceans is a vivid celebration of our Kiwi lifestyle and landscape.

For his eighth solo exhibition the artist has chosen a North Island focus. Deftly capturing the drama of Piha and the black sand beaches of the west coast, William's delights the viewer with contrasting works of golden, pohutakawa sheltered bays. Impressive large scale works are complimented by smaller vignettes of family groups and scenes. There is a certain nostalgia engendered by paintings of old Waiheke Island bachs and boatsheds as we remember the less sophisticated days of childhood holidays. A brilliant and joyful collection.
