An exhibition of 35 works reflecting images from the sparkling waters of the Waitemata Harbour to the sandy shores of Kawau Island in the Hauraki Gulf. Lance O'Gorman is one of New Zealand's foremost landscape impressionists with a unique style and sense of colour that captures the atmosphere and essence of his chosen subjects.

"Images of the Hauraki Gulf" is Lance O'Gorman's most significant exhibition and features paintings from his recently published book "Auckland, City of Sails" which will also be available at the opening.

Lance O'Gorman has received wide critical acclaim for his paintings of New Zealand and the Hauraki Gulf with collections extending throughout the United States, United Kingdom & Asia and a number of prestigious corporate collections worldwide.

During the 1970's & 80's Lance produced two other books, "Northland, A Portrait" and "The Art of Lance O'Gorman" In a recent issue of "Australian Artist" he was nominated as a favourite New Zealand artist amongst readers. International Art Centre is now Lance O'Gorman's sole representative.
