Simon Williams continues his artistic odyssey with a brilliant offering of thirty five new works. His latest exhibition features not only Auckland - City of Sails - but in response to public demand Simon captures on canvas the beauty and diversity of New Zealand. Talent which made his paintings a favourite with our America's Cup visitors - resulting in world wide sales - now shines forth in these new images. From the Bay of Islands balmy beauty to the snowcapped freshness of our South Island peaks Simon's unique view and vision of landscape is abundantly clear.

Compositions reflecting the harmony and humour of young boys fishing contrast with panoramic triptychs of remote High Country scenes. Born in 1961, Auckland based Simon Williams was originally inspired by Australia's famous Heidelberg School of artists. After working in Sydney Simon for five years was awarded Municipal Art Prizes from the Councils of Ryde, Lanecove and Paramatta. Simon Williams has been represented by International Art Centre for the last three years during which time he has worked towards this major solo exhibition.
