As we gaze at his spectacular panorama of southern splendour one can almost inhale the crisp, invigorating Tasman Valley air. Dunedin born Simon Williams creates a captivating triptych capable of transporting the city dweller while resonating with those of the south. A moment in time is captured as a farmer on horseback and his eager working dogs pause for a brief moment beside a tributary of the Tasman River. Mount Cook looms on the horizon and once again we are reminded that the foundation of our beloved land is one of farming and agriculture.
